How It Works

Enter each course's letter grade (A through F, with +/- variants) and credit hours. The tool converts letter grades to grade points (A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, etc.), multiplies each by credit hours for quality points, sums all quality points, and divides by total credit hours. For cumulative GPA, you can enter your existing GPA and total credits alongside new courses to see how the semester affects your overall average. The weighted calculation ensures a 4-credit A impacts your GPA more than a 1-credit A.
