What is Sitemap Generator?

An XML sitemap generator creates the file that tells search engines about all the pages on your website, their relative importance, how often they change, and when they were last updated. While search engines can discover pages through links, a sitemap ensures nothing is missed — especially for new sites, large sites, pages with few incoming links, or dynamically generated content. Submitting a sitemap through Google Search Console typically speeds up indexing of new and updated content.

How It Works

Enter your page URLs (one per line or paste a list), then configure optional attributes: lastmod (when each page was last updated), changefreq (how often content changes — daily, weekly, monthly), and priority (relative importance from 0.0 to 1.0). The tool generates valid XML following the Sitemaps.org protocol that all major search engines support. The output is ready to save as sitemap.xml and upload to your site root, then reference in your robots.txt file.
